I just picked up a PC10 tabletop that is a work in progress bc the owner told me the screen stopped working a few months back... I am wondering how to go about getting this fixed aswell as the item being checked for any other damage or missing parts... The music will still play and the counter works, ocasionally... I sometimes think that it freezes when i try and get the timer to go up and get the music going, but i can never be sure because the screen is blank! HELP!!!!
Also missing the back hatch, key, and has decent costmetic damage... Deff needs restorations!
BUT! The chips inside are very nice and i cant wait to open it to see past Ninja Gaiden 2 and find out what else i have!
He said Dr mario and Punch out so im stoked..
somone help me ! :_ i already printed the manual

Hello,
can someone help, I need the part numbers for the connectors on the playchoice harness and where to purchase
thanks:
Boingo:
Try eBay. Find the category Collectibles > Arcade, Jukeboxes & Pinball > Arcade Gaming > Replacement Parts
Then type "Nintendo" into the search. Then just keep checking back until your part comes up.

I am wondering what the difference is between a PP-1100A power supply and a PP-1200A power supply.
I am considering buying a PP-1200A power supply off of eBay if it can be used in a Nintendo Vs red tent as a substitute for a PP-1100A.
Oh yeah. Hi guys. It has been a while.

Hi everyone, my dual monitor PC10 recently stopped working and I've come here in the hopes that the collective wisdom of this board will be able to provide some useful advice.
So the backstory: My PC10 was working fine and I had just played through Contra to completion and then left the unit on. It cycled through the various games in attract mode as it always does and then it hit Castlevania and ran through that. But when Cv was done (and it's just a coincidence that I had come back to the machine and happened to be watching at this point), the graphics went garbled (like it does when time runs out) but instead of going to the next game on the list (Contra) it just froze. The machine froze completely and nothing I pressed had any affect whatsoever. So I unplugged the machine and cycled the power and when it came back on, no games would load on the bottom monitor. The top menu looks fine, but the channel select button does not initially work and no game loads up for attract. Eventually, the PC10 gives up on the first game in the top slot and resets the menu with that game's name missing (blank on the menu) and then proceeds to try and load the next game in line for attract, which then fails too. And if I leave the cab on long enough, it will one by one clear the menu until it is showing a blank menu with no games.
So this is my problem; the question is, how do I fix it?
What I've done so far:
-Tested the bottom monitor with a Punch-Out!! board and it works fine.
-metered the Power Supply and the voltages check out fine at the board (+5, +24).
-Pulled out all games but one and it still does this (regardless of what slot I put the one game in)
And now I've run out of ideas... any help?
Thanks in advance for any advice you can give me...

Having an issue with certain games on my PC10 Dual Monitor Cabinet. For some reason when I play my Goonies, Gradius and Contra games I cannot move to the right. Now for the strange part... On the two-player games Contra and Gradius, I can load a two-player game and the one-player joystick will go right without a problem but then the second player will not go right. If anyone can help me out with this problem I would be forever grateful.

I have a awesome Nintendo Vs system.
Looking to swap games out. It has Golf in it. Is it possible to put Donkey Kong in it?
I've also heard about a namco chip - would that enable me to put in Galaga?

Off/on topic PC question. I have some Vs boards & games. Would there be anyway to test the boards on a PC10 if I acquired a Vs. harness??
Pete:
If you have a single monitor Playchoice machine, then yes, you can test VS games on it (obviously not gun games unless you have the VS control panel adapter).
I believe everything will work fine, but the one and two player controls will be reversed.
If you have a dual monitor machine, it won't work.
|
ARRRRR!!!:
I have a dual. Guess its out of the question. Thanks for the answer.

Take a look at the connections. The glossary section on this website shows great examples of it.

If it's a single monitor motherboard and you are looking for a dual monitor one perhaps we can make a trade as I have a dual monitor motherboard but am searching for a single monitor one. Hope this helps!
